Our producers

Below you can see the trusted producers that grow with respect for nature. You can also download our catalog of producers.

MARIA RIERA

MARIA RIERA

Maria Riera has her farm very close to the sea. She, like all her siblings, follows the legacy of a family that has worked for generations and loves the land. Maria has been in custody with the Fundació Emys for more than 10 years and participates in many of our organic farming courses. For us it is a benchmark of quality, responsibility and innovation.

Maria has a 4-hectare farm dedicated to the vegetable garden. Thanks to the stewardship, we have created margins with flowers and aromatic plants for pollinators and improved the quality of the soil based on crop rotations and the production of their own compost.

GRANJA SLOU

GRANJA SLOU

With the hope of defending the values of a healthy, peaceful life that respects the environment, Gemma and Jou started their organic laying hen project in Can Bualous, in Riudarenes. They are located in a splendid setting and their hens receive all the necessary attention to produce eggs of the highest quality.

Thanks to the custody, Gemma and Jou make guided visits to the clients of the Rebost de Can Moragues and receive advice to conserve the biodiversity of their farm.

BIO MILL

BIO MILL

Julià Masó works in a privileged environment. While he plants the potatoes or tends his famous strawberries, he always has the top of the Agudes on the horizon. From his farm in Pla de Les Arenes, at 1,000 meters above sea level, he brings us some of the most unique products of Can Moragues: strawberries, raspberries or asparagus and crops of traditional varieties, such as "Bufet" potatoes or "mongetes you will have d'Osor".

Julià has a 6-hectare farm, where he combines different crops: orchard, rain-fed and fruit trees. Thanks to the custody, Juliá has built a pond for biodiversity and has improved the fertilization of the soil, favoring its regeneration.

ECOHORTA

ECOHORTA

Lucas makes an ecological garden in Massanes with his family and other colleagues, to respond to his concerns about fighting for the environment and social justice. Jordi and Xevi have joined forces to create Xapet, a joint initiative to make their individual projects more community-based and robust.

Lucas entered his 6-hectare farm into custody with Fundació Emys in 2020. We are currently studying his farm and the possibility of helping him implement a field of fruit trees, as well as restoring a pond.

EMPORAROM

EMPORAROM

Pere Coll is part of Emporarom, a project that seeks to recover and innovate with the aromas of the Empordà. The aromatic plants of its infusions, such as mint or elderberry, are grown in Sant Sadurní de l'Heura, on a farm crossed by two rivers, which preserve an interesting Mediterranean mosaic.

Pere looks after several fields where he grows mint and elderberry, and a forest where he picks rosemary and wild thyme. We currently sell their infusions in the Rebost de Can Moragues and they are in the process of entering the custody of the territory with Fundació Emys.

ECOPOLLASTRE

ECOPOLLASTRE

Jordi Cervantes raises organic chickens of the rustic breed from Riudarenes, on the Can Rechs farm, less than two kilometers from the Fundació Emys. Thus, it is a product of proximity and total trust. Jordi, who is mainly dedicated to the direct sale of his product, also sells his delicious chickens in the Rebost de Can Moragues.

Thanks to custody, Jordi receives technical and administrative advice.

BDEGUST

BDEGUST

Blanca and Lluís began to produce their BdeGust beer to contribute their grain of sand to the environmental and social sustainability of their territory. Its organic hop field, located in Caldes de Malavella, is one of the few examples of this crop that we have in Catalonia. But its singularities go much further: its very holistic project seeks to make organic, vegan and socially responsible beers. BdeGust is currently in dialogue with the Fundació Emys to enter as producers in custody.

For now, they have collaborated with us on a project that has allowed them to plant a hundred aromatic plants and have a nest of solitary bees to promote pollination and the conservation of these insects.

LA SELVATANA

LA SELVATANA

Anna de la Selvatana is an enterprising woman, with energy and principles, who followed the initiative started by her grandfather to manage a dairy farm and the fodder fields that surround it. On their farm in Campllong they take care of the entire process from start to finish: they grow the fodder, feed and milk the cows and produce milk, cheese or yogurt, which they then distribute to schools and shops in the area.

Anna looks after 80 hectares of fodder fields and takes care of 80 dairy cows. It currently sells all its products in the Rebost de Can Moragues and is in the process of becoming a producer in custody of the territory with Fundació Emys.

NUASETS

NUASETS

L’Albert Horta lives and works in the middle of a sea of hazelnut trees and forests, in Brunyola, a town known for producing the best hazelnuts in the entire province of Girona, the famous "hazelnut negreta". Following the legacy of the family tradition, Albert dedicates all his efforts and time to achieving a harvest of the highest quality. Under the command of other Brunyola producers, it has created Masvellanes, which is launching the Nuasets brand to bring Brunyola hazelnuts closer to the consumer.

Albert has 8 hectares of hazelnut trees. Thanks to the custody we have been able to convert part of the farm to organic farming. The hazelnuts that have resulted from this conversion can already be found in the Rebost de Can Moragues.
